Emergency

The Embassy of Pakistan, Vienna remains available to the Pakistani diaspora for travel, medical and other Emergencies in the territories of Austria and Slovakia.

Travel:

• Emergency visas can be issued by the Consular Section on closed holidays and weekends. The applicant needs to submit the visa application online at https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/.
• Please read the guidelines and apply for the correct category of visa.
• The Emergency Travel Document (ETD), is issued to Pakistani nationals for traveling back to Pakistan only in extreme emergency cases when their Pakistani Passport is not available, lost OR they are not eligible for issuance of a new passport/renewal of passport.
  The applicant has to submit proof of genuine emergency for issuance of an Emergency Travel Document (ETD).

Medical:

• Residents of the Pakistani community are expected to abide by rules and SOPs that the governments of Slovakia and Austria have established and periodically amended. Pakistani nationals traveling to, through, or living in Austria and Slovakia can get in touch with the local government’s health services, which are available at all airports, train stations, and cities. However, if assistance is required, the Embassy will be glad to assist.
